Job Purpose

Lead the evaluation, structuring, execution, and monitoring of investment opportunities aligned with strategic and financial objectives.

Oversee investment analysis, financial modeling, due diligence, transaction execution, portfolio performance, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead identification, assessment, and evaluation of investment opportunities across targeted sectors and asset classes.
  • Develop and review financial models, valuations, feasibility studies, business cases, and investment return analyses.
  • Lead commercial, financial, operational, and strategic due diligence with internal teams and external advisors.
  • Prepare investment proposals and presentations for senior management and investment committees.
  • Structure transactions and support negotiations involving financing, partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions, and divestments.
  • Manage the investment process from screening through post-investment monitoring.
  • Monitor portfolio performance against plans, targets, KPIs, and expected returns.
  • Identify investment risks and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Conduct market, sector, competitor, and economic analysis.
  • Support investment strategies, policies, governance frameworks, and evaluation criteria.
  • Maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, advisors, partners, and government entities.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Strategy, Risk, and other functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, investment management, or a related discipline.
  • A master's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • CFA, CA, CPA, or an equivalent professional qualification is advantageous.

Experience

  • Typically 8–12 years of relevant experience in investments, private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, asset management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in investment evaluation, financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and transaction execution.
  • Experience managing complex investment transactions and engaging with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Previous team leadership or management experience is preferred.
