Role Overview
A luxury fashion retail conglomerate is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor for its UAE operations.
The role coordinates audits, evaluates systems and processes, reports compliance levels, and highlights risk implementation gaps to management.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate audits with audit leadership and conduct audits of systems and processes.
- Lead development of the annual controls review plan by identifying and evaluating audit risk areas.
- Support management in finalizing audit scopes and developing detailed audit plans.
- Review the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, including fraud risk areas.
- Assess compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and leading practices.
- Report compliance findings and risk implementation gaps to management.
Education and Experience
- Chartered Accountant, ACCA, CPA, or MBA in Finance qualification.
- CIA or CFE qualification is advantageous.
- At least five years of internal audit experience.
- Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry.
Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of retail and e-commerce business operations.
- Advanced data analytics capability, including experience with leading tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
