Role Overview
The role supports the project manager on interior design components of development projects.
The position supervises interior works, site construction activities, material procurement, and cost-effective use of labor.
Responsibilities
- Plan internal and external designs and manage implementation of design concepts.
- Evaluate space plans and concepts for safety, functionality, aesthetics, accessibility, environmental, sustainability, and life-safety requirements.
- Develop design presentations with sketches, renderings, perspectives, color and material boards, photographs, or models.
- Review and approve colors, materials, finishes, and furnishings.
- Prepare shop drawings, working drawings, specifications, and site documents.
- Organize and control site activities and direct labor in line with project documents.
- Conduct site inspections and provide reports and recommendations to the project manager.
- Supervise draftsmen and guide them on technical and design matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a relevant course.
- At least 15 years of interior design experience in high-end developments.
Workplace
- The role includes direct supervision of site construction activities and site inspections.
