Role overview
The Infrastructure Engineer joins SITA's Borders Infrastructure and Platform team.
The team supports underlying infrastructure for SITA products and implements DevOps tools, technologies, and principles.
Responsibilities
- Use Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Ansible to automate the software development lifecycle.
- Own end-to-end product deployment and ensure products are operationally ready.
- Review requirements and help prioritize infrastructure and deployment features.
- Participate in Scrum planning, prioritization, and estimation.
- Troubleshoot pipelines, deployment code, and environment configuration with delivery leads, developers, and testers.
- Install, configure, and manage cloud-based and on-premises applications.
- Contribute to DevOps pipeline implementation and review code, sprint performance, and new features.
- Document new features and collaborate on company-wide initiatives and innovation.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps role.
- Previous experience troubleshooting Java applications.
- Experience with RHEL Linux or an equivalent platform and Linux administration.
