Senior HVAC Technician

Position Summary

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct daily mechanical plant inspections and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and air-quality control equipment.
• Monitor and control property temperature and analyze energy and utilities usage.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and other equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems and electronic wiring.
• Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and related components.
• Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.
• Report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, and injuries and complete safety training.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, communicate professionally, and respond to concerns.
• Maintain quality standards and identify or implement improvements in efficiency, productivity, safety, quality, and cost savings.
• Perform physical work in confined or elevated spaces, on stairs, ramps, ladders, and uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to and over 100 pounds.
• Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• A driver’s license is required.
• HVAC certification is required.
• A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
• At least three years of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required or listed.
