Position Summary
Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air-quality control, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and pool or spa systems.
Maintain the property mechanical plant, monitor temperature and utilities, and support safe and professional hospitality operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct daily mechanical plant inspections and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and air-quality control equipment.
- Monitor and control property temperature and analyze energy and utilities usage.
- Calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and other equipment.
- Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems and electronic wiring.
- Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and related components.
- Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.
- Report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, and injuries and complete safety training.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, communicate professionally, and respond to concerns.
- Maintain quality standards and identify or implement improvements in efficiency, productivity, safety, quality, and cost savings.
- Perform physical work in confined or elevated spaces, on stairs, ramps, ladders, and uneven or slippery surfaces.
- Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to and over 100 pounds.
- Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
Qualifications
- EPA Universal Certification is required.
- A driver’s license is required.
- HVAC certification is required.
- A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
- At least three years of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is required or listed.
