Job Purpose

The Senior HR Officer is responsible for supporting and coordinating day-to-day HR operations, ensuring effective implementation of company policies and procedures, maintaining accurate employee records, and providing professional HR support to employees and management.

The role covers key areas including employee relations, recruitment support, onboarding and offboarding, attendance and leave management, HR documentation, employee records, and compliance with UAE labor regulations and company policies.

1. HR Operations

  • Manage and coordinate daily HR administrative activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare and process HR letters, certificates, contracts, and other employee-related documents.
  • Ensure proper filing and confidentiality of employee information.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures.

2. Employee Relations

  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters.
  • Handle employee inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Support disciplinary and grievance procedures in accordance with company policies and UAE labor regulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation of employee relations cases and actions taken.
  • Promote positive employee relations and a professional workplace environment.

3. Attendance, Leave & Payroll Support

  • Monitor employee attendance, late arrivals, absences, and leave records.
  • Review attendance information and coordinate with departments to resolve discrepancies.
  • Process and verify annual leave, sick leave, emergency leave, and other employee requests.
  • Provide accurate HR data and reports to support monthly payroll processing.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments regarding payroll-related employee changes, deductions, and adjustments.

4. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Support the recruitment process, including vacancy coordination, candidate screening, interviews, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and recruitment agencies when required.
  • Prepare employment offers and required onboarding documentation.
  • Coordinate joining formalities, employee induction, and document collection.
  • Ensure new employees complete all required HR and compliance documentation.

5. Visa & Government Relations Support

  • Coordinate employment visa, work permit, Emirates ID, medical fitness, and related employee documentation.
  • Follow up on visa renewals, cancellations, and other employee government transactions.
  • Ensure required employee documents are properly maintained and updated.
  • Coordinate with PRO/Government Relations teams and relevant authorities when required.

6. Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage HR processes related to transfers, promotions, salary changes, confirmations, and employee status changes.
  • Coordinate employee resignations, terminations, clearance, and final documentation.
  • Ensure proper completion of exit procedures and required approvals.
  • Maintain accurate records throughout the employee lifecycle.

7. HR Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare regular HR reports related to headcount, attendance, turnover, leave, recruitment, and employee movements.
  • Maintain accurate HR trackers and personnel files.
  • Provide HR data and reports to management as required.
  • Ensure all HR documentation is properly controlled and confidential.

8. Compliance

  • Ensure HR practices are aligned with UAE Labor Law and applicable regulations.
  • Support internal and external HR audits and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure company HR policies and procedures are consistently implemented.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection and company information-security requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of relevant HR experience

, preferably within the UAE.

  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labor Law and HR practices.
  • Experience in HR operations, employee relations, attendance, leave, recruitment, and employee documentation.
  • Experience working with HRIS/ERP systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
