Architect

Job Purpose

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and design solutions based on project requirements and client needs.
• Prepare architectural drawings, details, elevations, sections, and other design documentation.
• Prepare, review, and maintain drawings, specifications, reports, and project documentation.
• Coordinate designs with structural, MEP, engineering, fabrication, and other disciplines.
• Review drawings and technical documents for accuracy, compliance, and approved design alignment.
• Identify design issues and provide practical, technically sound, and cost-effective solutions.
• Conduct site visits to review progress, verify conditions, and resolve architectural issues when required.
• Incorporate client comments, consultant feedback, and approved changes into project documentation.
• Use AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural and BIM software to develop and modify drawings and models.
• Collaborate with project, engineering, production, estimation, and other relevant departments.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, authority requirements, project specifications, and industry standards.
• Perform duties in accordance with company health, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project coordination.
• Practical experience in architectural drawings, design development, technical documentation, and construction detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of other architectural or BIM software is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for client, consultant, and team coordination.
• Knowledge of UAE building regulations, authority requirements, construction practices, and relevant industry standards is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, materials, building codes, and project requirements.
• Ability to develop practical, functional, aesthetically appropriate, and technically feasible architectural solutions.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and identify and resolve design conflicts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand client requirements, manage expectations, and provide technical solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project environment.

Working Conditions

• Office-based work with regular coordination across project, engineering, production, estimation, and other departments.
• Site visits and project-related travel may be required depending on business and project requirements.
• The role may involve project deadlines, multiple simultaneous projects, and additional hours when necessary.
• The role requires work in both office and construction or site environments.

Salary

• Salary range is AED 5,000–7,000 per month.
