APRONS AND HAMMERS is looking for a Senior Hostess to be the first point of contact for restaurant guests.
The role involves greeting guests, managing seating and shifts, and supporting the guest experience.
Hostess responsibilities
- Greet guests, manage waiting lists, provide menus, and answer initial questions.
- Seat guests at tables or waiting areas and assign preferred tables while maintaining effective table rotation.
- Engage with guests, respond to complaints, and help resolve service issues.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to guest questions.
- Maintain menu knowledge, assist with other restaurant positions as needed, and provide great customer service.
Hostess requirements
- Provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work well under pressure with restaurant staff.
- Perform high-quality work without supervision.
- Stand for long periods and follow instructions, asking questions for clarification when needed.
- Handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Nightlife experience is a plus.
Compensation
- Pay is listed as AED 2,340.49 to AED 7,133.75 per month.
