Role overview
Manage the planning and delivery of an assigned project’s Hook Up and Commissioning scope.
Lead HUC engineers, offshore campaigns, marine spread planning, readiness, safe execution, cost reporting, and progress management.
Key responsibilities
- Develop HUC scopes, deliverables, execution plans, and schedules.
- Manage the assigned HUC team and coordinate with internal departments.
- Conduct constructability reviews and establish safe, cost-effective solutions.
- Manage readiness processes before offshore mobilization.
- Manage marine spread operations, including JUBs, workboats, and supply boats.
- Control the HUC budget and report estimate-at-completion performance.
- Develop client relationships and conduct project execution meetings.
- Conduct HAZID and SIMOPS workshops.
- Identify and manage business and operational risks and opportunities.
- Define critical subcontractor and vendor requirements.
- Manage daily execution progress, offshore calls, and personnel safety.
- Mobilize offshore to provide visible leadership during campaigns.
Qualifications and experience
- 15+ years of experience in offshore oil and gas.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
