- Conduct routine and unannounced inspections to verify the validity of licenses for healthcare facilities, healthcare professionals, ambulance vehicles, and ambulance training centers, both public and private, within the Emirate of Dubai, and prepare and submit the related reports.
- Conduct routine and unannounced inspections of ambulance devices and equipment to ensure their serviceability and compliance with the Corporation’s approved technical specifications and regulations relating to ambulance vehicles.
- Carry out field audits on the implementation of inspection procedures for emergency medical service providers during events held within the Emirate of Dubai to ensure compliance with the Corporation’s approved specifications and regulations governing event medical coverage.
- Develop and update routine and unannounced inspection plans for healthcare facilities, training centers, and ambulance vehicles, ensuring compliance with the Corporation’s approved specifications and regulations.
- Issue violations, monitor the collection of associated fines, and participate in auditing and implementing procedures relating to violations arising from non-compliance with specifications and standards to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Prepare periodic reports on inspection and monitoring outcomes relating to ambulance service providers within the Emirate of Dubai and submit them to the direct supervisor.
- Prepare, review, and update databases relating to facilities, training centers, and ambulance vehicles registered with the Corporation.
- Prepare statistical reports on inspected facilities and training centers, including the number of violations identified.
- Respond to customer enquiries regarding inspection requirements and procedures, and provide awareness, guidance, and technical advice in the field of emergency medical services.
- Implement technical performance monitoring procedures for all emergency medical professionals practicing within the Emirate.
- Support organizational units by providing private sector data and maintaining communication with relevant stakeholders during emergencies and disasters.
- Audit the medical policies and procedures of facilities providing ambulance services within the Emirate of Dubai.
- Comply with information security policies, procedures, operations, and programmers, and report any security breaches or suspicious incidents to the direct supervisor.
- Perform any other duties related to the functions of the section in accordance with documented instructions and directives.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Nursing or an equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Diploma holders must have a minimum of two years’ experience in the relevant field.
