Head of Policies and Foresight Studies Unit

Preparing operational projects for the division, supervising their implementation, and ensuring their alignment with the strategic plans of the Section.

Supervising the development and implementation of the Corporation's policies, laws, and procedures related to the governance of technical and medical studies within the Corporation, and ensuring adoption and compliance with the provisions of research and study ethics.

Supervising the review and preparation of policies, procedures, and standards for training bodies related to ambulance services, in cooperation with the relevant organizational units.

Supervising the extraction and analysis of statistical data regularly, raising improvement recommendations based on it, and sharing them with decision-makers in the institution.

Supervising the preparation of requirements for obtaining medical accreditations in the field of ambulance services according to the corporation's requirements.

Supervising the development of the research agenda related to medical and scientific studies in the Corporation and conducting future foresight studies in the field of pre-hospital emergency medicine in cooperation with the relevant organizational units.

Supervising the review and approval of proposals submitted by the institution's staff and external researchers in the field of non-clinical medical research operations and studies related to the Dubai Ambulance Corporation or those in which the Corporation participates in the field of pre-hospital emergency medicine in the United Arab Emirates, and supporting approved research by providing analytical guidance and various possible capabilities.

Supervising the development of the research plan and priority matrix in the topics of medical studies and research to be conducted annually.

Supervising the preparation of policies and procedures related to improving the medical and technical services provided and managing data (clinical, statistical) at the Dubai Ambulance Corporation in collaboration with the relevant organizational units.

Supervising the development of a database for all research and their outputs by recording research and their outputs in scientific journals or as intellectual classifications.

Supervising the utilization of smart technologies, innovation, big data, and the corporation's statistical data for medical research purposes in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations in this regard

Supervising the development, review, and approval of medical and training guidelines, curricula, and courses related to ambulance services within the framework of the department's work and in coordination with other organizational units.

Ensuring sustainability, monitoring, following up, and reviewing the performance of the Section and its operational projects, ensuring their compliance with applicable procedures, policies, and requirements, and making adjustments to procedures, policies, plans, and projects when necessary to align them with the changing environment of the organization.

Supporting the department head and enabling him to make effective decisions by providing the required reports and feedback through scientific methodologies in data collection and analysis, and managing and developing data collection systems.

Supporting and managing approved information systems related to business, including risk management and business continuity.

Complying with information security policies, processes, and programs, and ensuring that every employee within the organizational unit understands their responsibilities related to information security.

Performing any other tasks related to the work of the department or as directed

Qualifications: Master's/Bachelor's degree in Health Facility Management or Emergency Medicine or its equivalent.

A Bachelor's degree requires 5 years of experience in the same field.

A master's degree requires 3 years of experience in the field of Health Facility Management or Emergency Ambulance
