Technical Skills

· Circuit Design & Development: Design circuits to meet HW requirements.

Components Selection and good in selection of the equivalent components, Create, simulate, and debug Power circuits, analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for electromechanical medical devices.

· Schematic & PCB Layout: Perform schematic capture and guide PCB layout engineers, adhering to design rules for high-speed, high-density, and low-power, miniature, or wearable assemblies.

· Microcontrollers/Interfaces: Experience with ARM Cortex, TI, NXP, or STM32 microcontrollers.

Deep knowledge of communication protocols: I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, Ethernet.

Etc.

· FPGA: Exposure to schematic design using Xilinx / Altera FPGAs

· Analog/Digital Expertise: Signal conditioning, noise reduction techniques, ADC/DAC interfacing, and power supply design.

· Lab Equipment: Hands-on experience with Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Digital Multi meters for troubleshooting.

· Tools: High proficiency in Schematics, PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD.

· BOM Analysis : Component optimization & Qualification, Cost & Lifecycle Optimization, Regulatory Documentation

Job Responsibilities

· Understand Hardware Requirement Specification and design hardware to meet the requirements

· Design processor and FPGA based boards

· Execute HW development activities independently as assigned

· Technical ownership of the hardware for the assigned module / board

o Schematic, PCB Design Support, Board bringup

· Provide HW support during system integration activities

· Redesign for cost optimisations

· Support team in identifying root cause and fixing issues

· Provide support during environmental testing and EMI/EMC testing

Would be a plus:

· Exposure to high-speed interfaces

· Experience in power optimizations

· Experience implementing USB or Ethernet

· Experience developing HW for using FPGA

· Exposure to stepper motor control based designs

Communication

· Good and strong verbal and written communication to involved stakeholders

· Should be able to conduct fruitful discussion with hardware and software team

Preferred qualification

· Bachelor degree in Engineering - Electronics Engineering

· Years of Experience : 3 - 6 Years
