Role Overview
Join BMO’s Technology and Operations finance team in a role focused on financial reporting, analysis, and business performance support.
The position provides exposure to AI, cloud computing, automation, and other technologies shaping digital banking.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, monitor, and report on business or function financial performance and condition.
- Perform financial and business analysis in support of business solutions and outcomes.
- Develop recommendations based on business strategy and stakeholder needs.
- Support strategic initiatives and build effective stakeholder relationships.
- Prepare and document monthly and quarterly financial analysis, forecasts, and actuals.
- Gather and format data into regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards.
- Coordinate initiative implementation activities and track metrics and milestones.
- Execute routine service requests, transactions, and queries within applicable service levels.
- Work independently on complex tasks and solve problems within established rules.
- Apply the Risk Management Framework and applicable policies, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Typically four to six years of relevant experience.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Completed or near completion of an accounting designation.
- Technical proficiency gained through education or business experience.
- Advanced Excel with VBA macros, Power BI, and Essbase.
- In-depth communication, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, influence, and data-driven decision-making skills.
Compensation
- The stated salary range is $55,500 to $120,000.
- The position is salaried, and total compensation may include performance incentives, discretionary bonuses, and other rewards.
