Senior Financial Analyst

Role Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Develop financial models and analyze revenues, costs, and periodic variances for management.
• Identify process improvements with finance stakeholders and business teams.
• Conduct ad hoc revenue and cost analysis for senior Finance management.
• Develop and regularly report business KPIs.
• Align financial accounting reports with corporate and finance definitions.
• Optimize route profitability, financial accounting, and management reporting processes where applicable.
• Review annual budgets, spending, business cases, contracts, and agreements for financial performance or compliance.
• Consolidate and analyze departmental financial results monthly and during annual budgeting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 4 years of job-related experience.
• Experience as a financial analyst.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data, variances, business cycles, and profit-and-loss impacts.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent command of English.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
• Good knowledge of internal finance systems, cost centre accounting, budgets, and forecasts.
• Airline industry experience is preferred.
