Senior Field Manager, Medical Affairs, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within International Operations.

The role leads a team that connects cardiometabolic evidence with healthcare professional education and clinical practice.

The position focuses on national and global scientific stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Medical Affairs professionals and translate strategy into measurable operational priorities.
  • Provide medical education through scientific meetings, symposia, workshops, and tailored programmes.
  • Build relationships with KOLs, professional associations, government agencies, health systems, and healthcare institutions.
  • Drive scientific communication across clinical trial phases and support real-world evidence planning.
  • Lead publication strategies, advisory boards, and scientific recruitment and retention activities.
  • Provide internal medical guidance and training on marketed products and related topics.
  • Coach field medical employees and keep the team on track against KPIs.

Skills and qualifications

  • Significant Medical Affairs, clinical development, or related pharmaceutical or life sciences experience.
  • Strong understanding of the cardiometabolic therapeutic area.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing professional teams.
  • Experience with KOL and scientific stakeholder relationships at national and international levels.
  • Scientific communication experience covering publication planning, medical education, and advisory boards.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant scientific or medical discipline such as MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English with strong presentation and communication skills.
