Role Purpose
The Senior Facility Management Engineer oversees the operation, maintenance, and performance of public beaches, waterways, and related facilities.
The role manages total facility management contracts and service delivery across hard and soft services.
The position is responsible for safe, reliable, sustainable, and cost-effective operations aligned with contracts, departmental requirements, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee total facility management services across public beaches, waterfronts, waterways, and associated public facilities.
- Manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, structural, and specialized waterfront systems and maintenance activities.
- Monitor cleaning, waste management, landscaping, pest control, security coordination, and public-area upkeep.
- Prepare technical scopes, specifications, bills of quantities, tender documents, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Support contractor selection, contract award, mobilization, execution, renewals, variations, and close-out.
- Supervise contractors, review performance, conduct inspections and audits, and enforce corrective actions.
- Ensure HSE, quality, authority, sustainability, risk assessment, permit, and emergency requirements are met.
- Manage maintenance plans, asset registers, lifecycle records, budgets, claims, invoices, and cost optimization.
