Role Overview
Jacobs is seeking a Senior Engineer or Lead Engineer to design and develop PHE&FF services for medium to large-scale projects.
The role covers projects in sectors including airports, hangars, metro rail, data centers, hotels, high-rise, commercial, and branded residential buildings.
Location and Work Arrangement
- The role is based in Bangalore and may support projects across India.
- The stated office setup is hybrid.
Key Responsibilities
- Design plumbing, drainage, and firefighting services from concept through IFC stage.
- Prepare firefighting and plumbing design calculations using Excel spreadsheets.
- Lead project teams of 5-15 members and deliver work within schedule and budget requirements.
- Coordinate structural, architectural, and other MEP requirements and perform BIM coordination.
- Prepare BOQs, specifications, design reports, budgets, schedules, and technical bid analysis reports.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders, including client-site meetings.
- Review vendor documents and vet material datasheets.
