About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage one or more moderately complex projects, involving clients with a regional geographic footprint or projects involving multiple services provided by regional IE offices
- Manage all phases of projects from inception through closeout, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget parameters
- Supervise senior level engineers across all applicable disciplines, as well as project administration, project controls, scheduling, cost control, estimating, and procurement representatives
- Provide mentoring and professional development guidance to junior and mid level engineering staff
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and technical audits to ensure compliance with engineering standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements specific to KSA
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications, providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction
- Oversee budget allocation, resource planning, and cost control measures to optimize project profitability and operational efficiency
- Identify, assess, and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and technical challenges
- Ensure compliance with all applicable KSA regulations, environmental protection standards, and contractual obligations
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, reports, and deliverables for internal and external stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization to enhance project delivery methodologies and team performance
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of professional engineering experience, with at least 3 years in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
- Demonstrated project management experience with responsibility for moderately complex projects
- Proven experience managing projects across multiple phases from inception to closeout
- Experience supervising and leading engineering teams and project support staff
- Strong knowledge of KSA building codes, regulations, and local engineering standards

Job Responsibilities
- Manages one or more moderately complex projects, involving a combination of clients with a regional geographic footprint, projects involving multiple services provided by regional IE offices, or other complexities such as litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.
- Manages all phases of projects from inception through closeout, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget parameters.
- Works mostly independently but receives basic instruction on specific assignments, objectives, complex features, and possible solutions.
- Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed project plans.
- Supervises senior level engineers across all applicable disciplines, as well as project administration, project controls, scheduling, cost control, estimating, and procurement representatives.
- Provides mentoring and professional development guidance to junior and mid level engineering staff to foster technical growth and career advancement.
- Conducts quality assurance reviews and technical audits to ensure compliance with engineering standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements specific to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Manages client relationships and stakeholder communications, providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout project delivery.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience managing projects with regional geographic scope or multi office coordination
- Familiarity with litigation support, environmental protection, or due diligence projects
- Proficiency in project management software and engineering design tools
- Experience in cost control, scheduling, estimating, and procurement management
- Demonstrated ability to work independently whilst managing complex technical challenges
