About the Role
MACH CONSULTANTS seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with 8+ years of experience to lead on-premise to cloud migration initiatives using Nutanix AHV and hyper-converged environments.

Responsibilities
- Lead on premise to cloud migration initiatives using Lift & Shift and Parallel Build migration methodologies
- Design, implement, and administer Nutanix AHV based infrastructure and hyper converged environments
- Manage and optimize Nutanix Cloud Platform (NCP), including Prism Element, Prism Central, and Nutanix Self Service
- Plan and execute workload migrations while ensuring minimal downtime and business continuity
- Design and implement Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions aligned with defined RPO/RTO requirements
- Perform infrastructure capacity planning, performance optimization, and lifecycle management
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning, migration, monitoring, and operational activities
- Support hybrid cloud environments, including Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) and cloud integrated architectures
- Implement infrastructure best practices for security, availability, scalability, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with application, network, security, and cloud teams during migration and transformation projects
- Manage incidents, problems, and change requests in accordance with ITIL processes
- Prepare technical documentation, migration runbooks, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong hands on experience with Nutanix AHV, Nutanix HCI, and Nutanix Cloud Platform
- Experience managing Prism Element, Prism Central, and Nutanix Self Service
- Proven expertise in server workload migration, infrastructure transformation, and cloud adoption projects
- Hands on experience with Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) and hybrid cloud environments
- Strong understanding of Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, RPO, and RTO planning
- Experience in infrastructure automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar tools
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies, storage, networking, and enterprise infrastructure architecture
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity management
- Familiarity with ITIL based Service Management, incident management, and change management processes
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
