Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, or related field; Master's preferred
- 5–8 years of experience in economic analysis or policy related roles
- Experience in government, consulting, or international organizations preferred
- Strong knowledge of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics
- Proficiency in Excel, Stata, R, SPSS, Python, or similar tools
- Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory

Role Overview
- The Economic Expert is responsible for conducting economic analysis, research, and providing policy recommendations to support strategic decision making.
- The role involves evaluating economic trends, assessing the impact of policies and regulations, conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis, and preparing insights and reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Please note that fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct economic research, market analysis, and forecasting to support strategic planning and policy development.
- Assess the economic impact of policies, regulations, legislation, projects, and investment initiatives.
- Monitor regional and global economic trends to identify risks and opportunities.
- Develop economic models, forecasts, scenario analyses, and impact assessments.
- Perform cost benefit analysis and feasibility studies for major initiatives.
- Analyze macroeconomic indicators such as GDP, inflation, employment, trade, and investment.
- Collect and interpret economic and statistical data from multiple sources.
- Prepare reports, policy papers, presentations, and executive summaries.
- Provide economic insights to senior management for decision making.
- Support policy development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with internal teams for planning and budgeting processes.
- Conduct benchmarking and comparative policy analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in economic analysis or policy related roles.
- Experience in government, consulting, or international organizations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics.
- Proficiency in Excel, Stata, R, SPSS, Python, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret complex data into clear insights.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Excellent planning and coordination abilities.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory.
