About the Role
ADNOC Group seeks a Senior Engineer for Instrument and Control Maintenance with 8 years of experience and a Bachelor's in Instrumentation/Control Engineering. The role involves supervising installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of I&C systems, ensuring reliability and safe operations in Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities
- Supervise installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and modification of instrument & control equipment and systems
- Review preventive maintenance plans/schedules and prepare task lists/maintenance programmes for I&C systems
- Diagnose, analyze and carry out root cause failure analysis, advise on remedial measures
- Provide guidance on chronic problems and review major repair and spares replacements
- Participate in Risk Assessment exercises and prepare recommendations
- Ensure availability of spares, coordinate new material orders, create PFS proposals
- Prepare new maintenance procedures, method statements, and schedule long term activities
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities with other departments to optimize manpower utilization
- Provide technical support for new projects in design and specifications
- Prepare new plant change requests (PCR) and implement them
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Instrumentation/Control Engineering or equivalent
- 8 years of experience in I/C Maintenance

Job Purpose
- Provide technical expertise and ensure optimized review and analysis of site resources and downtime for all Instrument and control systems related major activities to ensure reliability and availability and facilitate safe operations.
Maintenance Planning, Execution and Expertise
- Supervise the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and modification activities of instrument & control equipment and systems
- Review preventive maintenance plans / schedules and prepare task list / maintenance programmes for instrument and control systems
- Diagnose, analyse and carry out root cause failure analysis, highlight reasons for equipment failure and advice on remedial measures
- Provide guidance and advice on actions to be taken on chronic problems, and review requirement for major repair and spares replacements
- Participate in Risk Assessment exercises and prepare recommendations and guidelines
- Ensure availability of spares, coordinate and follow up new material orders
- Prepare new maintenance procedures, method statement for new activities and schedule long term activities
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities with other departments and sections
- Provide technical support for development, implementation and commissioning of new projects
- Prepare new plant change requests (PCR), study the proposed PCR for implementation
Minimum Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Instrumentation/Control Engineering or equivalent
- 8 years of experience, I/C Maintenance
