Role Overview
Jacobs is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer for electrical system studies within its Advanced Manufacturing business.
The role supports project deliverables, technical coordination, knowledge sharing, and quality system study reporting.
Workplace
- The position is listed as hybrid and may be split between Jacobs offices or project locations and remote locations.
- The listed location is Navi Mumbai and all India regions.
Required Qualifications
- A B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with First Class is required.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and standards including IS, IEC, and NBC is mandatory.
- Expertise in ETAP system study modules is required.
- Working knowledge of transient study analysis is required.
- Knowledge of 3D engineering and review of 3D models using Navisworks is required.
- Competent use of Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required.
Technical Skills
- Required ETAP studies include load flow, short circuit, motor starting, harmonics, arc flash, relay settings, and reliability studies.
- Additional system study software such as SKM, DIgSILENT, EasyPower, MATLAB, or PSCAD is advantageous.
