About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Technical Engineer to lead technical review of electrical designs for mega projects in Riyadh. The role involves performing advanced electrical studies, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring compliance with Saudi and international standards.

Responsibilities
- Lead the technical review of electrical designs, IFC drawings, specifications, and engineering deliverables
- Verify and challenge engineering calculations to ensure technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements
- Perform and review electrical studies including Load Flow Analysis, Voltage Drop Calculations, Short Circuit Analysis, Protection Coordination Study, Cable Sizing Calculations, Earthing & Lightning Protection Design, Fault Level Assessment, and Power Quality Analysis
- Review and coordinate MV, LV, ELV, Lighting, Emergency Power, Generator, UPS, and Earthing Systems
- Identify design gaps, clashes, technical risks, and opportunities for optimization and value engineering
- Support procurement teams in technical evaluations of vendors, suppliers, and specialist subcontractors
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, technical queries, and alternative proposals
- Coordinate with consultants, design firms, project teams, and subcontractors to resolve complex engineering issues
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), SEC Requirements, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and international engineering standards
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to project engineers and site engineering teams
- Support design development, construction engineering, and technical decision making throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering and technical design review
- Proven experience in mega projects such as hospitality, mixed use, airports, stadiums, data centers, commercial complexes, or large infrastructure
- Strong expertise in power distribution systems, MV/LV networks, ELV systems, emergency power systems, grounding, and lightning protection
- Demonstrated ability to independently perform and review advanced electrical calculations and engineering studies
- Strong knowledge of international design standards and Saudi regulations
- Proficiency in ETAP, AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in Design Review, Value Engineering, Technical Coordination, and Engineering Risk Assessment is highly preferred
- Previous experience within Saudi Arabia is mandatory
