Job Summary

Senior Electrical Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical engineering activities for large-scale MEP and Data Centre projects.
• Review and oversee electrical system designs, including:
• Power distribution systems
• MV/LV systems
• UPS systems
• Generators
• Earthing & lightning protection
• Lighting systems
• ELV coordination
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, international standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, civil, architectural, and ICT teams.
• Manage project execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Conduct technical reviews, site inspections, and quality assurance checks.
• Support project planning, procurement, and technical submittal approvals.
• Interface with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
• Identify technical risks and provide engineering solutions to ensure project delivery within schedule and budget.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance where required.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience

• **Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering**
• (Mandatory).
• Minimum
• 10 years of experience
• in electrical engineering.
• Strong experience in
• large-scale MEP projects
• in the UAE.
• **Mandatory experience in Data Centre projects**
• .
• Proven knowledge of electrical systems for mission-critical facilities.
• Familiarity with UAE authority regulations and international electrical standards.
• Experience in testing & commissioning activities for Data Centres is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of:
• Electrical design calculations
• Load analysis
• Power system coordination
• UPS and generator systems
• Critical infrastructure redundancy concepts
• Proficiency in engineering software and AutoCAD/Revit is an advantage.
• Excellent project coordination and problem-solving skills.

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational and reporting skills.

Preferred

• Experience working with Tier III / Tier IV Data Centre projects.
• Knowledge of sustainability and energy-efficient electrical systems.
• Professional certifications will be an added advantage.
