Hiring

  • A growing international tax consultancy is seeking a Junior Finance Administrator with exposure to UK taxation to support the preparation and processing of UK tax filings for individual clients.
  • This role is ideal for someone early in their finance career who is detail oriented and has hands on or academic experience in UK tax processes, and is eager to deepen their expertise in international taxation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and review of UK Self Assessment tax returns for individual clients
  • Collect, organize, and verify client financial data and supporting documents
  • Input financial information into internal systems and tax software accurately
  • Ensure all documentation complies with UK tax regulations and filing standards
  • Liaise with clients to obtain missing information or clarifications
  • Maintain well organized client records and administrative documentation
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the finance team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or tax related roles (preferably with UK taxation exposure)
  • Basic understanding or practical exposure to UK tax systems (e.g., Self Assessment, HMRC processes)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and handling financial data
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow within UK tax compliance and advisory processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in accounting, taxation, or bookkeeping with a focus on UK clients or regulations
  • Candidates pursuing or holding CA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent
  • Familiarity with UK tax software or HMRC related workflows is an advantage
