POWERCHINA JEPCC is hiring a Senior Draftsman – Civil & Infrastructure for international utility-scale solar PV EPC projects.
The role supports civil infrastructure, site development, structural and foundation works within solar, power and major EPC projects.
Location
- The position is associated with the company's Dubai Branch in the UAE.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or technical qualification in civil engineering, drafting or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of relevant drafting experience in solar EPC, power, utilities, infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
- Advanced AutoCAD 2D/3D and strong hands-on Autodesk Civil 3D experience are mandatory.
- Experience with grading, earthworks, roads, drainage, foundations, utility corridors and site development.
- Experience preparing IFC, construction, shop/detail, fabrication and as-built drawings.
- Ability to coordinate civil, structural, electrical, mechanical/MEP, architectural and solar PV drawings.
- Experience with RCC drawings, equipment foundations, cable trenches, duct banks, inverter stations, substations and BOP infrastructure.
- Ability to interpret engineering designs, survey and topographic data, vendor drawings and site mark-ups.
Software and Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks and BIM/CDE platforms such as ACC or BIM 360.
- Utility-scale solar PV EPC experience is highly preferred.
- Additional BESS, substations, transmission lines, renewable energy or major civil infrastructure experience is encouraged.

- Support international utility-scale solar PV EPC projects as a civil and infrastructure draftsman.
- Prepare and update civil infrastructure, site development, structural and foundation drawings.
- Produce grading, earthworks, road, drainage, foundation, utility corridor and site development drawings.
- Prepare IFC, construction, shop/detail, fabrication and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate civil, structural, electrical, mechanical/MEP, architectural and solar PV drawings.
- Develop drawings for RCC structures, equipment foundations, cable trenches, duct banks, inverter stations, substations and BOP infrastructure.
- Interpret engineering designs, survey and topographic data, vendor drawings and site mark-ups.
