Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using containerized and OpenShift based environments.
- Design and maintain hybrid environments (on premises and cloud) with high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability.
- Build and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, integrated with OpenShift.
- Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Red Hat OpenShift, handling cluster administration, scaling, and workload orchestration.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) integrated with OpenShift.
- Enforce DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning, RBAC, and compliance with enterprise and government security standards.
- Conduct system performance tuning, load balancing, and capacity planning.
- Work closely with development, QA, and security teams, while mentoring engineers and enforcing DevOps best practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps engineering.
- Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using containerized and OpenShift based environments.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with Docker and Red Hat OpenShift for containerization and orchestration.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning, RBAC, and compliance.
- Strong collaboration and mentoring skills.
