Job Title: Senior Designer (Facade / Curtain Wall)
Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Experience: 8 -10 Experience in facade industry
Employment Type: Permanent And Full Time
Client Domain: Construction (Specialty: Aluminum Glazing Facade, Panel, Steel Structures, Glass Processing)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Designer to join our technical team.
The role involves designing façade and curtain wall systems that meet architectural and engineering requirements, from concept to detailed fabrication drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare initial design intent drawings for curtain wall systems on tendered projects.
- Develop designs into detailed working drawings after project award.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Coordinators, and Design Team Leaders.
- Design aluminum systems, including gaskets, extrusions, and accessories.
- Produce fabrication and shop drawings for new curtain wall systems.
- Ensure designs comply with architectural drawings, specifications, and structural calculations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture.
- 5–10 years of experience in the façade / curtain wall industry.
- Strong knowledge of systems such as UCW, SCW, ACP, and frameless systems.
- Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
- MS Excel
• Photoshop, 3ds Max, SketchUp, V-Ray
- Good communication skills, especially when working with architects.
