Job Summary
Lead projects through RIBA Design Stages 0–4 from inception to final design.
Provide design support to the project delivery team during construction at RIBA Stage 5.
Ensure projects meet client time, quality, and budget objectives.
Pre-Contract Design Management
- Lead the design process through handover to the delivery team for construction.
- Prepare budgets, project briefs, scopes of services, and programmes for consultant RFP tenders.
- Manage consultant selection processes, including prequalification, RFPs, interviews, technical evaluations, and award recommendations.
- Direct awarded consultants and ensure delivery against client time, quality, and budget objectives.
- Collaborate with development, commercial, and project delivery teams on design and execution strategy.
- Review deliverables for completeness, coordination, scope compliance, and authority requirements.
- Secure approvals and manage conditions and queries from clients and government authorities.
- Prepare presentations and progress reports for senior management, clients, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate project meetings, communications, action items, and stakeholder relationships.
- Support financial, contractual, risk, change management, and value engineering procedures.
- Support tender reviews, contractor selection, and pre-contract close-out and handover.
