Key Responsibilities
- Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical methods and advanced analytics.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to gather information on market trends, promotions, and product launches.
- Data Analysis:
- Analyze historical sales data and market trends to inform demand planning decisions.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend actions to minimize excess stock and stockouts.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and present demand reports and forecasts to management and stakeholders.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving forecasting processes and tools.
- Cross-Functional Projects:
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance overall supply chain performance.
Qualifications
- Bacheloru2019s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; Masteru2019s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in demand planning software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
