Job Summary

  • The Storekeeper is responsible for managing inventory, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring efficient operation of the storage facility.
  • This role involves receiving, storing, and issuing materials, as well as maintaining accurate records of inventory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as necessary to ensure availability.
  • Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and documents.
  • Ensure materials are stored properly, maintaining a clean and organized storage area.
  • Process requests for materials and ensure timely distribution to various departments.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies in inventory records.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in supply chain or material management is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a storekeeper or in inventory management role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using SAP and MS Office.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
