The Senior Data Engineer will work on the iConnect Suggestions project in Bangalore.
The role maintains and develops a data engineering platform that generates intelligent suggestions for pharma sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the data engineering platform that powers suggestion generation.
- Design reusable generalized Python modules using modern development practices and object-oriented programming.
- Collaborate within agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
- Support migration to a new CRM through pipeline updates, end-to-end checks, suggestion validation, and migration tasks.
- Debug AWS Step Functions, Glue, Athena, and Lambda workflows and implement fixes for data pipeline issues.
- Apply engineering practices that improve code quality, testing, and deployment efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience
- Five to ten years of data engineering experience with global or regional project exposure.
- Advanced Python expertise with pandas, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and modern Python development practices.
- Experience with AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, DynamoDB, AWS Step Functions, and Lambda.
- Strong understanding of AWS-based cloud architectures.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies and project management tools such as Azure DevOps.
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of Veeva platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD, version control, and automated testing.
- Background in pharmaceutical or healthcare data environments.
