Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, analyze, and investigate cyber threats and security incidents
- Perform threat intelligence gathering, analysis, and reporting to identify emerging risks and attack trends
- Lead and coordinate incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery
- Monitor SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools
- Conduct threat hunting activities to proactively identify potential security compromises
- Analyze indicators of compromise (IOCs), malware, phishing campaigns, and adversary TTPs
- Coordinate vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts with technical teams
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity monitoring procedures, playbooks, and incident response documentation
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen cybersecurity controls and improve security awareness
- Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and executive summaries for management
- Stay current with the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 7 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, cyber threat intelligence, SOC, or incident response
- Experience within government or large enterprise environments preferred
- Hands on experience with SIEM platforms, EDR, and security monitoring technologies
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, GIAC GCIH, GIAC GCTI, CEH, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC 200, Splunk Certified Cybersecurity Defense Analyst

Job Summary
- The Ministry of Community Empowerment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join its Cybersecurity team. This role is responsible for protecting the Ministry's digital assets by proactively identifying, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats while supporting the
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, analyze, and investigate cyber threats and security incidents

- Monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms and security monitoring tools
- Conduct threat hunting activities to proactively identify potential security compromises
- Analyze indicators of compromise (IOCs), malware, phishing campaigns, and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
- Coordinate vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts with technical teams
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity monitoring procedures, playbooks, and incident response documentation

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- A Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, cyber threat intelligence, Security Operations Center (SOC), or incident response
- Experience within government or large enterprise environments is preferred
- Hands on experience with SIEM platforms, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and security monitoring technologies
