Job Purpose

Develop plans and work mechanisms related to institutional excellence, and contribute to achieving the department’s objectives by supervising and following up on all executive activities within the related operational plan.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Prepare the proposed strategic plan for the section, contribute to its development, and prepare and follow up on the implementation of operational plans to ensure alignment with the department’s objectives.
  • Prepare studies and research related to institutional excellence, and update and develop policies, work manuals, methodologies, and internal procedures regulating institutional excellence operations.
  • Strengthen relationships with internal and external partners to ensure services are delivered according to best standards.
  • Develop programs that enhance continuous learning, and develop, train, and motivate work teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Conduct periodic follow-ups on performance indicators, prepare achievement reports for the section, and submit them to the department director.
  • Participate in preparing the department’s budget in coordination with relevant organizational units.
  • Develop models and mechanisms to measure customer and stakeholder satisfaction regarding the quality of services and programs provided, and ensure these models are applied across all relevant digital platforms and organizational units.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Provide support in periodic and on-demand data analysis and present findings to leadership to support decision-making.
  • Report any operational risks or obstacles that may hinder the achievement of objectives and goals.

Financial Management

  • Ensure alignment with relevant financial policies and applicable procedures within the job role.

  • All organizational units within the entity

Key External Stakeholders

  • Relevant semi-government and private entities
  • Relevant local and federal entitie

Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Institutional Excellence, Project Management, Business Administration, or equivalent from an accredited university.

Professional Experience And Skills

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of principles and concepts related to institutional development.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of Dubai Government Excellence Award systems and requirements.
  • Innovative in problem-solving, able to find practical solutions and resolve complaints.
