- Performs clinical duties and actively engages in clinical practice.
- Provides high quality of medical care to patients in accordance with hospital standards.
- Works in multidisciplinary team to bring a multimodal approach to complex patient problems.
- Assists the Chairman in ensuring that Quality Improvement Programs are implemented.
- Performs specialty procedures, conducts ward rounds and shares on call rota as required.
- Maintains relevant clinical experience, privilege and licensure.
- Directs and advises junior staff on patient management especially in the area of specialization.
- Guides and actively participates in the training and teaching of Residents, Fellows, Assistants, Consultants and other junior staff.
- Actively participates in the educational activities and training programs of the department.
- Promotes the provision of Postgraduate Training Programs, Continuing Medical Education activities and other required educational and training courses.
- Develops new courses or special teaching materials for the junior staff.
- Actively participates in national and international conferences and outreach programs.

Role Overview

Clinical Responsibilities
