Summary
- Provides advanced clinical expertise, mentors, and trains medical staff. Plans, directs, organizes and coordinates activities within Medical Affairs.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Performs clinical duties and actively engages in clinical practice.
- Provides high quality medical care to patients.
- Works in multidisciplinary team for complex patient problems.
- Assists Chairman in implementing Quality Improvement Programs.
- Performs specialty procedures, conducts ward rounds, shares on call rota.
- Maintains relevant clinical experience, privilege and licensure.
- Directs and advises junior staff on patient management.
- Guides and participates in training and teaching of junior staff.
- Participates in educational activities and training programs.
- Promotes Postgraduate Training Programs and CME activities.
- Develops new courses or teaching materials for junior staff.
- Participates in conferences and outreach programs.
Education
- Graduation from accredited medical school with board certification (Arab, American, UK, Canada or equivalent).
Experience Required
- Completed 20 years of consultant experience.
