Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and support the development, initiation and maintenance of policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program.
  • Collaborates with other departments to gather information of direct compliance issues.
  • Support the SCO with alleged violations by conducting investigative procedures.
  • Review, evaluate and follow up the compliance issues/concerns.
  • Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.
  • Responsible to monitor corrective action plans.
  • Provides reports on a regular basis of the operation and progress of compliance efforts.
  • Ensures proper reporting of violations or potential violations.
  • Responsible for the management of the compliance Hotline.
  • Support SCO in effective compliance communication program.
  • Compliance assessment, analyzing compliance of laws, policies and code of conduct.
  • Support implementation of compliance related training / awareness initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Management/ Business Administration or BCL is a must.
  • A Professional Certified by a reputed awarding body in corporate and regulatory compliance is preferred.
  • 8 to 10 of years’ experience and out of which 2 years in a similar organization such as ABA is a must.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (written and oral).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Good drafting skills and the ability to interpret business processes into legally sound documents.
  • Able to interact confidently with senior executives.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to influence and build good relationships at all levels.
  • Be able to conduct meetings and presentations skilfully.
  • Ability to draft high quality communication material.
