The Senior Cerner Clinical Application Analyst supports the implementation, support, and optimization of Cerner electronic health record systems.
The role works with clinical and IT teams to align Cerner applications with organizational needs and improve patient care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Configure and implement Cerner EHR applications for clinical workflows.
- Build, test, and deploy Cerner modules including CPOE, Maternity, ED, Fetal Link, PharmNet, Supply Chain, Registration, and Scheduling.
- Provide advanced end-user support and troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Maintain system documentation and configuration records.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and IT teams to optimize workflows and system functionality.
- Support Cerner projects and upgrades, and identify workflow and system improvements.
- Develop and deliver clinical staff training, user guides, and support materials.
Skills and platform experience
- Cerner Millennium EHR configuration and support experience is required.
- Experience with PowerChart Maternity, Fetal Link, PharmNet, Supply Chain, or other Cerner EHR systems is required.
- CCL knowledge and development experience is preferred.
- Build and configuration experience with CPOE, FirstNet, Maternity, Nursing, or Physician modules is preferred.
- Additional surgical experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of proven experience with Cerner Millennium or other Cerner EHR systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Cerner certification is preferred.

Danat Al Emarat is a specialty women’s and children’s hospital in Abu Dhabi with services including Neonatology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Women’s Health, Fetal Medicine, and a Level III NICU.
