Role overview
The Analyst, Business Applications supports, maintains, and enhances business applications that enable efficient business operations.
The role works with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to support applications, resolve issues, and implement system improvements.
Responsibilities
- Provide functional and technical application support and resolve issues.
- Monitor performance, availability, and reliability of business applications.
- Coordinate vendors and internal IT teams on incidents and service requests.
- Manage upgrades, patches, enhancements, implementations, and integrations.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
- Coordinate UAT, validate system changes, and maintain application documentation.
- Provide training, support change management, and liaise across business, IT, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements, including access controls and audit support.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in business application support, business analysis, or application management.
- Experience with ERP, HRMS, workforce management, CRM, finance, or other enterprise applications.
- Experience managing vendors, service requests, and application incidents.
- Experience with Kronos/UKG, SAP, Oracle, CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Relevant Business Analysis, IT Service Management, or enterprise applications certification is preferred.
