The Senior Cerner Clinical Application Analyst supports the implementation, support, and optimization of Cerner electronic health record systems.
The role works with clinical and IT teams to ensure Cerner applications meet organizational needs and improve patient care delivery.
Organization Context
M42 delivers healthcare services using health technologies and precision medicine across a global network.
Danat Al Emarat is a specialty women’s and children’s hospital in Abu Dhabi with services including Neonatology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Women’s Health, Fetal Medicine, and NICU care.
Responsibilities
- Configure and implement Cerner EHR applications for clinical workflows.
- Build, test, and deploy primarily Cerner Pharmacy and Supply Chain modules and enhancements.
- Conduct system testing and validation for accuracy and performance.
- Provide advanced end-user support and resolve complex system issues.
- Analyze and troubleshoot problems and maintain configuration documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and IT teams to optimize functionality.
- Identify workflow improvements and system enhancements.
- Support Cerner-related projects and upgrades as a technical resource.
- Develop training for clinical staff and create user guides and support materials.
Skills
- Cerner Millennium EHR configuration and support is required.
- Preferred build and configuration experience includes CPOE, PharmNet, and Supply Chain.
- UAE pharmacy regulatory knowledge is mandatory.
- Additional integration and CCL knowledge is requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of proven experience with Cerner Millennium, including PowerChart Maternity, Fetal Link, PharmNet, Supply Chain, and CCL development or other Cerner EHR systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Cerner certification is preferred.
