Senior Civil Engineer

We are looking for an experienced

to join a major drainage network operations, maintenance and development program in Qatar.

• Manage and oversee Framework Contractors’ maintenance, cleaning and

RRRU works

across Foul Water, SGW and TW systems.

• Lead inspection and supervision activities to ensure contractors meet all

contractual, technical and operational requirements

.

• Review annual preventative maintenance and repair schedules and recommend improvements to minimise service downtime.
• Drive maintenance improvement initiatives aimed at reducing

maintenance time and costs

while maintaining system availability and reliability.

• Lead investigations,

root cause analysis and reporting

for customer enquiries, asset breakdowns and flooding incidents.

• Ensure emergency and incident reports are promptly attended to and resolved by Framework Contractors.
• Review tender documentation for

capital maintenance / RRRU works

.

• Lead the complete project lifecycle for new RRRU works based on catchment requirements, from planning and design through implementation and close-out.
• Provide technical and commercial support to Engineers on

framework contracts, risks and contractor performance

.

• Ensure compliance with

and all relevant DNO&M processes and procedures.

• Identify and eliminate redundant or duplicated activities to improve operational efficiency.
• Lead and support multidisciplinary teams to ensure reliable, safe and efficient operation of drainage network assets.

🔹 Bachelor’s Degree or higher in

or a relevant discipline

🔹 Degree must be obtained from

🔹 Minimum

10 years of cumulative experience in drainage networks

🔹 At least

3 years of experience managing contractors and leading teams

🔹 Experience working within a

multidisciplinary organization

, preferably in the Middle East

🔹 Strong knowledge and experience in

🔹 Experience supporting change and continuous improvement initiatives

🔹 Strong understanding of

🔹 Chartered Membership in a relevant professional engineering body is an advantage

🔹 Experience with drainage systems, including

Foul Water, Surface/Ground Water (SGW) and Treated Water (TW)
