Role Overview

Working Schedule

• The schedule is 6 days per week and 10 hours per day.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the children's academic, emotional, behavioral, and social development.
• Assist with homework, reading, school assignments, and educational activities.
• Plan learning and enrichment activities and develop foundations in reading, communication, numeracy, critical thinking, and general knowledge.
• Encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence, independence, responsibility, and emotional intelligence.
• Establish routines, boundaries, manners, etiquette, and positive behavioral expectations.
• Monitor developmental progress and liaise with parents, teachers, tutors, and educational professionals.
• Coordinate extracurricular activities, educational programs, outings, cultural activities, games, and enrichment opportunities.
• Encourage healthy habits and appropriate technology and screen-time use.
• Accompany the children to activities and appointments when required.
• Travel with the family and maintain routines and educational activities during travel.
• Work professionally with nannies, drivers, and other household staff.
• Provide parents with regular updates and maintain confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of child development and psychology.
• Previous experience as a Governess, Teacher, Early Years Educator, Child Development Specialist, or in a similar role.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong academic and educational orientation, organization, and schedule-management skills.
• The candidate should be warm, nurturing, emotionally intelligent, culturally sensitive, trustworthy, discreet, and professional.
• The candidate must be flexible and willing to travel internationally with the family.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with private, VIP, UHNW, or high-profile families is highly advantageous.
• Arabic or additional languages would be an advantage.
