CAMH is a mental health and addiction teaching hospital and research institute in Canada.
The role supports the Campbell Family Mental Health Research Institute, its research centres, philanthropic gifts, and research operational funds.
Role Overview
The Senior Business Analyst supports financial accountabilities and financial services delivery within the Research Finance Team.
The role provides financial reporting, analysis, sustainability planning, and business advice to research and finance stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support financial reporting for internal committees and philanthropic donors.
- Support sustainability planning, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Support balance sheet reconciliations and month-end and year-end financial close.
- Identify risks and opportunities and provide strategic financial advice.
- Build relationships with research and finance leadership, scientists, centre directors and managers, and foundation staff.
- Assist with or review research business proposals, donor funding proposals, and other financial requirements.
