Senior Business Analyst / Business Analyst - ServiceNow

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Gather stakeholder perspectives and translate them into clear requirements.
• Define and maintain the overall program scope statement.
• Develop program and project documentation for effective governance.
• Partner with software engineers, QA, product managers, and engineering teams across the software lifecycle.
• Lead scrum master activities, manage schedules, identify issues, and communicate status and risks.
• Coordinate release schedules and milestones.
• Support software development, project management, cross-functional coordination, and team communications.

Requirements

• Broad IT experience totaling 5-10 years.
• At least 4 years of experience in business analysis, emerging technologies, or related technical domains.
• At least 1 year supporting a ServiceNow implementation.
• Experience with software development and end-to-end program execution across multiple engineering teams.
• Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, and HRSD modules and practices.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and scrum master responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Prior software engineering experience.
• Experience in fast-paced and constantly changing environments.
• Experience collaborating across highly integrated technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong spoken and written communication abilities.
