What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with manager to develop and implement territory POA and key account plans.
  • Evaluate progress versus plan monthly and agrees to course corrections with manager.
  • Partner with cluster/territory teams and Marketing, Medical Affairs/Value & Access teams.
  • Engage with peers and District Manager and cross functional teams to improve product knowledge.
  • Demonstrate understanding of industry and healthcare trends.
  • Follow through on customer commitments and request in a timely fashion.
  • Report customer activity in the CRM system and ensure customer profiles are kept up to date.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Amgen Performance for selling platform.
  • Operate within the agreed expense budget aligned with POA priorities.
  • Seek inputs and assistance to prioritize activities and follow up with customers.
  • Continuously develop product knowledge, communication and selling skills.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a sales related job.
  • Experience with computer systems (CRM databases and MS Office).
  • Proficiency in English in both oral and written communication.
  • Relevant local legal qualification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Hold self accountable for achieving established goals.
  • Demonstrate time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in specialty care therapy area.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in UAE.
  • Experience in endocrinology / ophthalmology fields is preferred.
  • Experience in both public and private sectors is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in life science or (bio) medical sciences.
  • Knowledge of Customer Relation Management principles.
  • Exposure to interactions with various fields and organizational levels.
  • Exposure to project management principles.
  • Proven resilience in sophisticated environments.
  • Proven high learning agility.
