Responsibilities
- Identify and meet guests’ needs, provide appropriate bar services, and assist guests in recommendations and upselling.
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to beverage recipes, curating recipes for fine beverages and unique cocktails.
- Assess and manage guests’ needs and recommend wine and food pairings; upsell beverages.
- Work closely with Bartenders to support excellent service delivery.
- Ensure all drinks transactions are processed, registered, and settled.
- Set up the bar appropriately, arranging bottles and glasses for attractive displays.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 4 years of experience in bar operations within a 4 star or 5 star hotel, upscale restaurant, or premium beverage venue, including supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation, mixology techniques, wines, spirits, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service.
- Proven ability to lead and train bartending team members and manage daily bar operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of inventory control, stock management, cashiering procedures, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
