The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages and delivering a memorable specialty coffee experience.
The role requires hands-on experience with **manual espresso machines**, **latte art**, and knowledge of **specialty coffee brewing methods**.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso-based and manual brew coffee drinks according to specialty standards.
- Operate and maintain **manual espresso machines** and brewing equipment.
- Create **latte art** and ensure consistent quality in presentation and taste.
- Calibrate grinders and ensure proper extraction and brewing parameters.
- Engage customers with knowledge about coffee origins, roasting, and brewing styles.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
- Support the team during busy hours to ensure smooth workflow.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a **Barista in a specialty coffee shop**.
- Skilled in **manual espresso machines**, **grinder calibration**, and **latte art**.
- Strong understanding of specialty coffee standards and brewing methods.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Passion for coffee and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
