Overview

  • The Catering Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating catering orders from inquiry to delivery, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth operational execution, and timely fulfillment of all catering requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process catering inquiries, quotations, and orders.
  • Coordinate with clients regarding event requirements, menu selection, delivery schedules, and special requests.
  • Prepare and issue catering order sheets to the kitchen and production teams.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, drivers, and branch teams to ensure timely delivery and setup.
  • Monitor order progress and ensure all catering orders are completed according to specifications.
  • Follow up with customers before and after events to ensure service satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of catering orders, invoices, payments, and customer information.
  • Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams regarding catering related requirements.
  • Handle customer complaints and service issues professionally and promptly.
  • Support sales initiatives by identifying opportunities for repeat business and corporate accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company quality standards.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly catering reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Business Administration, Hotel Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in catering coordination, F&B operations, hospitality, or event management.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience in handling catering orders, event coordination, or food delivery operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is an advantage.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in cafés, bakeries, catering companies, restaurants, or hospitality operations.
  • Familiarity with corporate catering, events, and banquet operations.
