Role Overview
The Senior Backend Software Engineer will plan and design software and web applications for FreeWheel's advertising platform.
The role includes application integration, development documentation, performance tracking, technical guidance, and support for other engineers.
Responsibilities
- Identify product and technical requirements and analyze integration needs with project stakeholders.
- Design, develop, customize, test, document, and release software and web applications.
- Train junior engineers and provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance to test systems and verify technical requirements.
- Present architectural and technical decisions to internal and external audiences.
- Support performance tracking, delivery commitments, vendor relationships, and customer liaison activities.
