Specialist 3 - Procurement

Responsibilities

• Coordinating procurement of capital materials for engineering, maintenance, installations, and office supplies
• Resolving invoice discrepancies, obtaining PODs, and addressing receiving issues with suppliers
• Informing internal customers about product changes, including recalls and discontinuations
• Leading communications for material issues related to specific product lines
• Reviewing supplier performance and business plans to meet material requirements
• Assessing supplier capabilities to ensure adherence to quality and performance standards
• Planning inventory and materials in collaboration with planning coordinators and managers
• Initiating RFQs and RFPs with suppliers to achieve cost savings and diversify vendor base
• Communicating with vendors about long-term material needs for project support
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
